2026 Victorian Accommodation Awards for Excellence

Sofitel Melbourne On Collins was proudly recognised at the 2026 Accommodation Australia (Vic) Awards for Excellence, an annual celebration of outstanding achievement across Victoria’s accommodation and hospitality industry.

Chief Concierge Sam Goodchap was named Concierge of the Year, recognising his exceptional contribution to the guest experience and dedication to the craft of hospitality. A familiar face at the hotel, Sam’s approach to concierge service is grounded in an instinctive understanding of Melbourne and a commitment to creating meaningful, memorable experiences for every guest.

The hotel was also named a finalist for Luxury Accommodation of the Year and Best Meetings & Events Space of the Year, recognising the breadth of the Sofitel Melbourne On Collins experience, from five-star stays and personalised service to meetings, conferences and celebrations delivered across the hotel’s event spaces.

Together, the three recognitions reflect the passion and expertise of our Heartists and their continued commitment to French hospitality, brought to life with a distinctly Melbourne spirit.
