Your tastebuds will be thanking our famed international Pastry Chef, David Hann who’s created a monochromatic afternoon tea stand with paradoxical flavours hidden within each dessert, inspired by the works of Maurits Cornelis Escher, a Dutch graphic artist.

Your afternoon tea experience will be presented on our dramatic black and white stands which again was inspired by Escher’s work on impossible objects and explorations of infinity.

Sofitel’s weekend high tea is an authentic experience brought to you by David Hann, our international pastry chef who uses French techniques to make modern dessert creations. Oh, and forget the calorie calculator, our weekend high tea is a buffet, which means you can go back and forth to get as many desserts as you like.

Celebrate the French tradition of Le Goûter in Sofi’s Lounge between 3pm and 5pm each weekday.
Traditionally offered as children leave school to provide a delicious and satisfying treat. We present this in an elegantly presented box filled with treats and served with a Valrhona Hot Chocolate to evoke after school memories.
