As a Hotel for the Arts, Sofitel Melbourne On Collins is proud to present Tumbinyeri – A Connection to Life, an exhibition by Emma Stenhouse that explores the interconnectedness of people, culture and Country. Through a contemporary artistic lens, the collection reflects on identity, memory and belonging, inviting guests to engage with stories that celebrate connection in its many forms.

From the red earth of Outback New South Wales to the waterways and coastlines of her present home, the landscapes that have shaped Emma Stenhouse’s journey are reflected throughout Tumbinyeri – A Connection to Life. Rich in colour, movement and symbolism, the collection explores themes of connection, belonging and growth, reflecting the stories, knowledge and traditions that continue to shape her artistic practice.
