In honour of Fête de la Musique, the beloved French celebration of music, culture, and togetherness, Sofitel Melbourne On Collins invites guests to experience a curated series of moments inspired by the French art de vivre.

From 22 June 2026 – 30 September 2026 | Atrium Gallery, Level 35 and The Atrium on 35
Discover Behind the Curtain, an exclusive photographic exhibition presented in partnership with Victorian Opera, offering a rare glimpse into the artistry, craftsmanship and unseen moments that bring a performance to life. Captured by Melbourne / Naarm photographer Casey Horsfield, the series follows performers and creative teams backstage across the 2025 and 2026 seasons, revealing intimate moments before the curtain rises at the Palais Theatre.

Continue the celebration at The Atrium on 35, where a curated selection of opera-inspired experiences await. Indulge in two limited-edition creations that pay homage to the grandeur of the stage. Savour a reimagined Opera Cake, crafted with Callebaut 72% dark chocolate, hazelnut and delicate vanilla snow, paired with The High Note, a signature cocktail crafted for the occasion.
Together, these contemporary interpretations of two timeless classics offer a memorable way to celebrate music, culture and French elegance high above Melbourne’s skyline.
