Friday 23 February 2017

Sofitel Melbourne On Collins is excited by the appointment of new Head Chef for No35, Michael Harrison who will launch his new menu at The Tallest Lunch as part of the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival

Michael has spent his time working with some of the best chefs across Melbourne from the legendary Jeremy Strode at Langton, who Michael remembers was a ‘simplistic genius’ to his idol Ben Shewry whom Michael worked with at Luxe Restaurant and later on Attica.

Sofitel’s General Manager, Mr. Clive Scott said, ‘I’m excited to bring Michael into No35 following the footsteps of legendary chefs like; Raymond Capaldi, Gary Mehigan, George Colombaris, Shane Delia, Gabriel Martin, Marcus Moore, Andy North, Klaus Klemm, Shannon Bennett, Donovan Cooke and now under the guidance of our Executive Chef John Savage’.

At the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival’s Tallest Lunch, Michael said ‘You can expect to see 35 current and old menu items to share amongst everyone with a line-up of dishes to see the changing of the guard’

No35 is now selling tickets to this once off event being held on Friday 23rd March starting from 12.30pm for $135 per person with a welcome spritz.
